Cairn Isle is an island on the south-west of Karamja, south of Tai Bwo Wannai and west of Shilo Village. To access the island, player must climb a rockslide at the Karamja side (requires level 15 Agility), and then run across the wooden bridge linking up the two islands. The crossing attempt can be failed, causing 2 sets of 10% of the players health (i.e. a player with 700 health will be dealt 70-70 life points) points of damage and always washes the player back to the Karamja beach.

Cairn Isle is involved in both Tai Bwo Wannai Trio and Shilo Village quests. One of Timfraku's sons, Tinsay, resides in Cairn Isle before the player convinces him back to the village in Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest. Rashiliyia's son Bervirius is also buried on the isle, and the player must explore his tomb and use the items found there to further progress during the quest.

Exploring Cairn Isle is an easy task in the Karamja Achievement Diary.

Chameleon eggs are also found here, which can be used for Summoning.

A Treasure trail coordinate leads to Cairn Isle as well. A Saradomin Wizard will attack when the player digs in the indicated spot.

How to Get There Edit

The fairy ring CKR is right at the entrance to the isle.

Trivia Edit

  • There is a glitch where when failing to cross the bridge you will receive 30 damage and not 20. This has not yet been fixed.
  • Cairn derives from the Welsh word "Carne", which is a pile of stones used as a landmark.
  • If you fail at crossing the bridge, the message appears "You just manage to drag your pitiful frame onto the river bank, although you nearly drowned in the river" but the bridge crosses the sea, not a river.
